The Scorpion Problem

- They are increasing in numbers around our properties and continue to do so.

-There is no nest or colony on your property, there is a population in your neighborhood and not likely to go away.

-They are highly venomous, avid climbers that do not dwell on the ground, but in structures in and around our homes.  They are often safe from predators and insecticides.

-Where one travels, many more can and will most likely follow.  They often aggregate or winter down in similiar areas and in great numbers.

-They live many years and can go great lengthes of time without food or water.  They survive harsh conditions and are not as susceptible to insecticides as are general pests.

-They are attracted to our properties by moisture and the desirable micro-climates.   Eliminating the so called "food source" doesn't prevent  or "cure" a scorpion problem.

-Once they take hold, they are very difficult to get and keep under control.

-When one gets in the home, it can be in for days, weeks and months before it is ever found.

-When they become sickly from insecticides, or other factors, they can show up almost anywhere in our homes.  This makes us very vulnerable to being stung in all areas of our home, and quite often our beds.

-They often seem to show up unexpectedly, from no where, and make it so we cannot relax in our own homes.  They can often be mistaken for lint, a piece of string or a rubber band.

-They can be found on the floor, wall, ceiling, furniture, drawers, clothing and many more undesirable areas in the home.

-There are many reasons why insecticides can be ineffective.  Often, the poisons make the problem worse, resulting in more sightings in the home.

-Often optimal products are not used, and if they are, not in the most effective manner.  The science of scorpions, science of insecticides, structural and landscape conditions, weather patterns and specific timing are not factored in.

-Many residents are given unrealistic expectations, bad information or substandard strategy plans.

-Pest control and sealing services vary drastically, even if they "sound" the same or "seem" similar.   The more a resident is educated, the better the short and long term outcome.

The Scorpion Solution

- Don't start where you "think" the problem is, start where you least want to find a scorpion.

-Understand where you are starting from and why the current system is not working or why the property is populated.

-Know it's not about killing individual scorpions, but controlling a population that is flowing through your neighborhood.

-Have a methodical plan, with layers of protection, from the inside-out.

-Having a systematic approach, that will begin to deter scorpions out and away from your home.  This will give you optimal and long term results.

-Stop them as immediately as possible, so you can begin to "relax" in the home.

-Have a "what next" or a "what if I see a scorpion" plan and solution.

-Don't blindly hire a pest control technician to start spraying, dusting your attic or do partial/haphazard sealing.  Know the FACTS, not just the claim a product "kills" scorpions or "everything" is being sealed.  This doesn't mean scorpions will be controlled.

-Read ABOUT US to learn why we understand the bark scorpion and why we can help you achieve results.   We have most likely been where you are with your scorpion issues and probably worse.  Many times our service starts where others have failed.

Scorpion Issues to Know
